Welcome to the Centre/SIS Users Groups central site! This website is dedicated to connecting Centre/SIS users around the world.

If you’re not sure what Centre/SIS is, it is an open source student information system licensed under the GNU/GPL. Centre/SIS was created to change the typical SIS model from overbearing and complicated to simple and easy to use. With Centre/SIS, you can have a system up and running in under an hour. Head over to http://www.centresis.org/ for more information.

We will use your profile information to determine that you are a real person and not a spam bot. If your affiliated organization issues you an email address, it would be best to use this. If not a popular web based email service is okay as well.

Why should I join?

Being a member of this community provides two major advantages. One is the opportunity to network with other people around the world involved with academia. Building those types of connections could be an invaluable resource.

The other advantage is to have an additional place to Centre/SIS support. Centre/SIS is currently offered in two different versions. One is an on-demand edition which is hosted and maintained by the folks at Centre/SIS. The other is a community version, which is hosted and maintained by the users. Both versions take input of the many users of Centre/SIS. Without the valuable information received from users, we can’t make Centre/SIS better.
